sorry about that member, i hope you can use the user trader system to full effect hope you recieve your item soon! if it took him a month to wrap the item up god knows how long it will take him to get it sent to you! does his number in the other thread not work?

Thanks for the replies. I do have his address and his mobile number and indeed have spoken to him several times!! All I get is promises and then no delivery.

If anyone in the Newcastle area does know of him (or would like to know the details-in which case I am on [email protected])and can "encourage" him to be a bit more helpfull then I will be very gratefull.

I live in Bucks so a journey north can't really be justified even if it would make me feel better!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for that very kind offer......I will let you know. I think the real problem is Mr K just can't be bothered. If I ever advertise something for sale in "car circles" I could not imagine any situation where I would not supply the goods( apart from non paymet/bounced cheque) - to me is is a matter of honour and a key part of this "hobby" which is why W's like him really P_ _ _ me off!!!!!

forget about it and put it down to experiance, or lean on him for seats or money back. there are enough members in and aroud the north east to knock on his door for you:yeahthat:

I am presently adopting the " phoning at strange times from different phones so he don't know it me" stratagy. It has seen some success coz I have spoken to him this way - hopefully it worried the s _ _ _ out of him!! But then again maybe not coz still no seats or chq.............Oh well....................

Fo an update please see the recent "Tacho...etc...." post. It seems he is back - shame my seats or my money are nowwhere to be seen.

If a forum moderator reads this - how about blocking this indiviual? To avoid a repeat of my misfortune.............I would welcome yours or anyone's thoughts on this.

Hello people! I'm new to this place dont actaully have a FIAT i have an alfa 155 V6 but same factory i guess! Was just browsing through various sections see if i can spread any knowledge!

But anyway to the point, i live in Dunston, Gateshead which is literally a 5 min drive from Newcastle. So i could certainlly go up there and get your problem sorted! I'm a big lad so im sure he'll co-operate! What exacatlly has happend? Where in Newcastle is he? Give me the details and i'll get it sorted for you! I know exactaly how it feels, I bought a gearbox of some guy via alfaowner.com and never recieved it. Tried going to the police but nothing has came of it, been almost a year now and still nothing:bang: .

Well if worst comes to worst i've got a cream interior for sale out of my alfa 155 will fit a Tipo/Tempra, would be the flyest (is that even a word?) Tipo in the UK! Just got myself a full leather interior with electric seats, so much fun! I'll feel like a kid again .

To sum up the story as simply as possible - a set of Tipo16v Recaros were offered on this forum for £75 - an absolute bargain. No -one came up with any cash, it was to far for me to collect(I live in South Bucks) so a deal was done for them to be sent by parcelforce at my cost. That was I guess 3+ months ago. I sent a cheque for £110 approx which was banked very quickly. I then had regular e/mail contact describing removal from the car,seats ready to send etc and when nothing happened I managed to get Mr Kelly to answer the phone by calling from work - no caller id I guess!! - at which point to his somewhat suprise we had a fairly forthright conversation!

The upshot of this was Yes he still had the seats but had just not got round to sending them. I offered to accept a refund if he no longer wanted to proceed- but YES - I was assured seats would arrive within days - this at the end of November. Since then nothing - hence my post here.

I am obviously disapointed to be out of pocket, even more so that I have not got my seats at a bargain price BUT mainly because it just completely P's me off when somebody uses a "hobby/interest" site to rip people off.

Finally in responce to the other message - yes remove the bugger and be done with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
