A number of people have said in the past that they sometimes have difficulty finding somewhere to meet in the Gtr. Manc. area. I've found a pub that will gladly give over their overflow car park on certain evenings to car groups. They already have a Land Rover Disco III owner's club, a Vauxhall/Opel group and.....er.....an Electric Vehicles enthusiasts mob. The Landlord's going to let me know in the next few days what dates are availlable. The Pub serves a variety of different beers and have food on every night. It's well isolated from any Chavs and is easily accessible from the M56. If anyone's interested will they let me know and I can express an interest.

Just testing the water at the moment. I initially thought of one evening, but most people seem to be saying week-ends would be better, which is understandable. The problem you will have at a pub, is if I say yes, we'll have (for argument's sake) 10 cars turning up they'll cordon off part of the car parki can drive, been driving since i was 13.

in the hope that some money will be spent. However, if hardly anyone turns up they won't be so keen as if regular customers with money to spend can't get in they'll take their business elsewhere. However, the food is quite good and not too expensive. In the meantime I'll speak to them in the next few days and see when it goes a bit quieter on a Sunday, as mid-afternoon may be a better time as it will give everybody time to get up.
