Yeah I know, thats what im waiting for as well but folks want to get me something for Xmas. Made em wait till jan last year and got a bargain sony DVD recorder.
its either going to be this or a new telly. the sony telly im looking at is in asda and has lowered in price 3 times in as many months.

so any one any idea its going to cost for a PDA with sat nav and recomend a decent one and where i can get the TOMTOM software cheap?

I've got a Dell PDA with TomTom 5 on it, it's belting I got it off eBay along with a GPS car mount thingie that retails for £80, all in it cost me £240 about 6 months ago. It did come with authentic TT3 but I 'aquired' TT5 myself

Bozzy, not sure if you will see this or not. If you tried to install tom tom 5 you may have noticed it doesn't recognise the receiver. If you come into this problem, let me know and I will tell you the simple (but far from obvious!) fix for this.
