right now i stream from the PC via the PS3/360 via PS3 media server
this goes through a panny sound system to a full HD display.
now i know i could run a HTPC but im leaning to the ease of use of the mediatanks

Popcorn Hour A-110 for me, although I would look at the HDX1080 now - If I recall, it had more flash memory or processor power in comparison, although they run the same software.

I love mine (y)

its got 512mb of RAM though it seems it doesnt make any noticable difference.
dunno if firmware updates change that.
how do you find the popcorn remote? the Egreat looks a better remote
Would an evesham media centre PC count?

well thats just a PC ;)
though some use the likes of this Revo http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/96067...-Desktop-PC/Product.html?ptsl=1&ob=Price&fb=0

Avoid Atom powered min pcs for media. They are fine for basic tasks but they struggle with 1080p. Some codecs work to some extent but even the ones (such as the acer) that have dedicated graphics it will struggle to get through 1080p.

TBH you can probably put together a media PC (shuttle case or something) for as much as a dedicated media steamer/storage thingy. There's a few good Linux media centre distros to keep costs down ;)

I know  i even get random "end tasks" "BSOD's" the lot. I call it the full PC experience but on a bigger TV (n):bang::devil::cool: did I mention it over heats and the fans kick in so loud you can't hear the sound? Or the fact that Evesham in their infinate wisdom decided integrated SIS graphics would be fine with shared system RAM :bang::bang:

At least Eveshams were fairly standardly built so their's nothing stopping you from changing the fan and adding a graphcs card yourself...
Shame they went bust :(

already have - but it's a small height case so the fan is restricted by the case anyway a better heatsink and fan turned out to be worse than stock due to lack of space for it shift the air :( also grfx card is at half height so couldn't get something truely awesome :bang:
