Technical Media player or Aux?

Today for no apparent reason my Media Player, using memory sticks, which has been aok since day one decided to call itself AUX and not respond to any inputs from the right hand "track change" buttons on the steering wheel.BTW left hand wheel volume buttons were ok.Along with this the mileage started flashing on and off? , switched it off it went ok, then it started again, switched it off again ok again!
Any ideas before I start to pore through the manual or sit playing silly b**ggers with various buttons probably to no avail?

There's a Blue&Me software update available to cure loss of communication and mileage flashing.

Book it into the dealer, shouldn't take more than 30mins.

Thanks mate, in fact its booked in for next Thursday so fingers crossed.
Electrics have been perfect apart from this minor glitch, hope thats all it is.

Had the same problem too.
A quick, temporary fix to any of these problems is to remove the 'negative' terminal from the battery for 1 minute and then reconnect it.
This will 'reboot' all the computers.
