Hi all,

I have a problem with the media player in that I can't see any folders just the option - play all, despite orgainising the songs in folders. It does play all in a random selection. I've checked the shuffle and it is off. When I first started using the USB stick, I put two folders on and these were visible and I could select the folder and play the songs in it. Since adding more folders it now does not show any folders and just comes up with the message 'no media found', however the songs are definitely there as I said it plays all of them under 'play all'

Grateful please, if anyone has any ideas.

Some have suggested in the past it takes time for the folders to become visible.Dur to the system downloading them. I can't say ice bee. arsed to see if this is indeed true. How long have you left the USB in for?

Hi, I've been on my hols, many thanks for answering my post. The USB stick is basically left in my car all the time, so I don't think it can be a loading problem.

I'm getting a bit fed up tabbing through to get my favourite tracks to play.

Any more ideas?

Hi Brit,

I had exactly the same problem with my RadioNAV in my Alfa..
Eventually I discovered a Work-a-Round.

What did not work:

1) Disconnecting the Minus battery lead for half an hour.
2) Reformatting the 2GB disk to FAT and putting back the files.

Files (songs) played AllRight but I could only go one song Forward or Backward at a time
(could not select Folder/Artist/Genre/Playlist).
The menu options were all grayed out.

What did work: (discovered by accident) :bang:

1) Go to audio set up -> Mediaplayer

Select menu option 1) -> select automatic playing.

2) Leave menu (escape)

3) Go back to Mediaplayer menu option 1: -> select NOT automatic playing

4) Leave menu again (escape)

5) Go back to MediaPlayer Menu and go to option 4) Select

In my case now all options (folders/artist/genre/playlist) were again available (hitherto they were all grayed out).
and you can e.g. choose by foder.

Maybe this trick helps also in your case.
(I suppose the software was stuck).

Cheers,

Martin
