500 Apple car play for Fiat

Hi,

It seems Blue&Me has multiple issues. I got it working to call someone for 2 days and then it starts making weird noise when calling and when voice command is activated.

After browsing through the forum, I have given up on using blue&me and hoping to find an alternative.

Does anyone recommend a reasonably priced aftermarket system to play music/video via Youtube app and possible has GPS? I’m based in Ireland and also looking for decent fiat garage for car servicing if anyone knows.

@typecastboy is the man for you! Check out love500 on YouTube he’s recently changed a stereo and he’s definitely done one in a 500 that’s had B&M
I changed mine during lockdown I put in a piorneer touch screen with connects2 adapter for the steering wheel buttons and it’s been flawless I did spend quite a bit (few hundred) but it was worth it as it’s made for CarPlay
