maximum size of alloys for mk2 punto

does any1 no the maximum size alloys for a fiat punto mk2? thanks bin told 17 inch 1s rip tyres on them

17s will fit but will probably rub, you will be better off having 15s with 195/50 or 195/45 tyres or 16s with 195/45

as long as you keep the same rolling radius they will be fine, could probably fit 19's if you really wanted but it will look stupid, best go for 17's

i fitted 205/40 17's to my 2000 plate punto...no rubbing at all.
looks awesome...plus! they fit right into the arches.
the best bit is that u dont need to slow down for speed humps.
imo i think 17's would be the maximum without arch work!
