General Maximum lightbulb power?

Hi,

Does anyone know what kind of bulb can I put in a headlight without melting it?

I am really disappointed with headlights, replaced ordinary 55W with the '55W 30% more light', but it still sucks, no noticeable difference.

if you go for a higher power bulb as opposed to the brighter ones then you really need to re wire them for safety.

I would check that your reflectors are not faded before changing the bulb. I'm quite happy with the standard bulb suggesting yours might be down to the reflector.

As for the wires - if you do change to higher power I'd run dedicated power to the lights from the battery, using the original wires as the relay trigger.

They are Osram 30% More Light bulbs.
I am not complaining about full beam, it is great, but the dipped one sucks.
