Tuning Max power with no turbo 1.1 8v engine?

For acceleration you don't need bhp, you need torque. Difficult on an 1108 engine, but how old is your engine, what is the service history like?

:yeahthat: the reason turbo cars are fast in a straight line is the mega torque you get from turbo compared to NA engines.

I would also say asking huge sweeping questions like your original post or post #4 is pretty pointless tbh, it all depend on how far you want to take things and budgets.

Oh primy! you haven't searched previous threads. Lot's of people have asked this question before.
The best use of your money is to do a complete service -replace oil, oil filter, air filter etc,etc. Go to the FAQs section & look at 'servicing intervals'
AFTER you have done this then look at 'modding your cento'
....winning the Slovenian National Lottery will help then.

Remember, though, that an 1108 will become progressively harder to drive the more power (assuming N/A) it puts out. That's because conventional tuning tend to move the torque peek higher up the rev range.

For bang for bucks, put a bigger engine in it.

Thanks, yesterday i buy Fiat Seicento cup it has about 85 Hp it was a car who drives about 7 years ago on Slowenia championship. The engine has 24,348 km, on the car is racing camshaft racing exhaust, tuning on computer for injection, eibach racing suspension,Ferodo racing brakes, OMP seat and sterring wheel... All this item goes to my Cento because the racing car is in a bed shape (He stand on snow,rains soon about 4 years)
