Mark threads as resurrected

Currently reading:
Mark threads as resurrected

Why?

What is wrong with resurrecting a thread?

Every forum I have ever been on one of the top recommendations for new questions is to use the search and see if it has already been asked.
And then regular posters complain if they do not, then they complain if they resurrect and old thread.

Nothing wrong with bumping, it keeps stuff together instead of being spread over a load of threads, which would also make searching easier. But knowing it is an old thread that has been bumped might avoid the annoyance of starting to re-read the existing posts before you twig and realise you've read it before - you'd know to skip to the end instead. "Go to last unread" (or whatever it is called) might not work between cookie clearouts/switching browsers/between computers.

You know if you click the
firstnew.gif
next to the title of the thread it goes to the first unread post? Just takes a second then to look at the date on the previous post ;)

I read every post in every non-car section and then the Panda 2012, Grange Punto, Punto Evo and Punto 2012 and always use that button.(y)
