take your side rub strips off ? there is a guide on how to do that in the guides section.

tint your rear lights?

CC your mirrors and your door handles.

tint your windows

lower it?

debadge the boot and bonnet.

Buy some sporting/GT alloys and lower it.

Money well spent and not wasted on tat like chrome wheel covers and LED lights...

~£150

40mm

In 6 months time you'll want different wheels and will have wasted the £20.

i know, but it looks a lot better than the standard ones, and they was only £20

how much is it to lower it? and how many mm would look good but not ridiculous ? :)

on standard shocks you can goto 40mm depending on the condition there in, and for a kit off ebay it would cost around £75 thats including delivery.

or you can get the whole kit for £175 including delivery but this is 60mm drop front and 50mm drop back.

Spend your money on quality, those posted are crap IMO

Eibach do a 30/30 drop pro kit which is excellent.

german make is crap lmao! thats some funny stuff. they make the best and most toughest long lasting

You're a total joker tbh.

Do you know anything about suspension?

If you did you'd know eibach are top end and a 'kit' for £175 when eibach springs alone cost £150 will be of worse quality. Bilstein shocks with eibach pro springs is an excellent setup and for that kit it's £700+. How can you possibly think that a cheap german kit for £175 can beat a motorsport proven kit that costs £700+. It can't, simple as.

You pay for quality. A quality product which has had R&D put into it as well as being made with quality materials.

We're talking about motorsport, not the army or tanks.

£150 for springs is not ridiculous if you know anything about suspension.

As I said, you get what you pay for and Eibach is a proven brand with motorsport heritage.

Onto topic as i was saying the spring and shocks can be bought off ebay for a cheap amount that is reasonable to spend on a car.

You may deem £150 unreasonable on springs, but I'm of the mindset that if you're going to do something do it properly and do it once. You may like to buy cheap sub standard parts, that's up to you. Don't cry when you get outdriven.

I have 7 sporting/gt alloys at the moment, 4 with good tyres, also have full selt of bolts and locking nuts, need cleaning and a couple need balancing. PM me if your interested, I also have GT2 seats.....

When manufacturers make cars for everyday road use how come they break? If your saying do it properly im sure there not doing it properly if people get broken springs and need to replace them or just want to replace them for better springs..

That is not the debate. The issue is with the quality.

The springs posted maybe made of the same material and produced in the same way, but the spring rates and progression will not have as much R&D put into them as Eibach's which results in worse handling and worse traction. So yes, they may still last as long but they will not perform on par. If they do they got very lucky when doing limited R&D into spring rates. My money would always be with the proven product.

I've run lots of suspension setups and eibach springs with bilstein shocks is one I can personally reccoment. Eibach springs and OE shock is also fine, but not 100% ideal. Due to budget constraints not everyone can afford to buy 'good' dampers AND springs. If that's the case just buy good springs, not poor springs and poor dampers.

yeah i fully understand on how well Eibach springs are made just watched a vid on them being made and what there used for. But like you say not everyone has 700+ to spend on a full kit but i wish i could spend that much on a full kit as yes it would be nice, I was just trying to get stuff cheap for the original poster as he said he wanted cheap mods and me, you everyone knows anything is better than the original standard springs/shocks.
