General marea weekend rear wiper motor

Hi.I have a 2001 Marea Weekend with a slow rear wiper motor.Is this motor the same as on any other fiat models,which may make it easier to find.Thanks.Paul

Mine went about a year ago and before I found one on another Weekend I tried a few from other Fiats - unfortunately without success. Certainly the scrap yards were telling me I needed one from a Weekend.

However it's the casing that seems model specific so I guess it would be possible to swap the motor from one casing to another. I haven't tried but I now have a problem with mine again, so I think I will soon be finding out.

Ok the casing and shaft are specific - so these need taking apart, cleaning and re-greasing with waterproof grease.

Motor and gears - they're comon to marea weekend, bravo and the easiest to find - Mk1 punto!

The motor is held to the casing with 4 bent over tabs. Undo these and pair the worm+motor with main gear.
