Hello I've got a Marea TD 100 Weekend. When I bought it I tried a Peugeot 406 estate as well. The 406 is more bulky and uglier and the dash is cluttered. I like very much the Marea for it's lovely shape (it looked great in the snow we had a few weeks ago); practical boot (the ledge stops stuff falling out when yo open it, and the ledge can be lowered to help load and to be a seat when you go on a picnic or muddy walk, better but smaller than a 406). And it's more lively than the 1.9 406 turbodiesel. The Td 100 engine is noisy when it starts up in the morning, but soon goes quiet. I've had good experiences with this car. The Peugeot 405 estate I had before was poor compared to this.
Its done 32 000 miles so I haven't done any cambelt business. I've just changed the front brake pads. One track rod end seized and that was £40 to fix at a Fiat dealer.
