Howdy folks. Just thought I'd tell you of the 5000 mile 1 month road trip I've just completed in the JTD105 weekend. Running faultlessly on a mix of 60-75% veg oil to diesel, we took in the Massif central, the NE spanish coast near barcelona, then wound right across the awesome Pyrenees where we hiked 'til we were hot, and got annoyed with the complete prohibition of nightlife, and then right accross the top of beautiful, lush green Northern Spain taking in A' Coruna, the city with a higher density of exceptionally pleasing female bottoms than any other I've visited.

Despite 4 people, 3 surfboards, 3 tents, a full camp kitchen and much of the miles hitting the suspension on the bump stops, the fabulous Fiat has deeply impressed me. It developed no further rattles despite my mate thinking all doors are designed to be slammed as hard as possible on every occasion, and averaged about 53 mpg. The first tank got us 655 miles, and there was still 3 litres left when we filled up.

The car's integrity is now beyond doubt in my mind, bearing in mind it had 109k on the clock when we started, and it still feels like a new car to drive.

FIAT= Fine Italian Autos Truly:D

Are you using SVO? and can you give me your method of filling it up, i.e. do you mix first outside the car - what quantity do you mix - are you in supermarket carparks carefully pouring veg oil and diesel from/to a multidude of 25 litre containers? or do you just throw it in the tank - but in what order?
