how much you guys pay for your insurance,i just had my renewal and for tpft on a hlx saloon max no claims, legal cover, protected =£275 ouch only paid 200 last year and nothing has changed that's with budget think i will have to shop around

i paid 260 full comp for 1,8 weekend but then i am an old git at 46 it also depends on area you live in have you tried doing it as a new quote online with same company as sometimes there is better discounts for new customers

£280 Fully Comp, protected full ncd, legal, zero voluntary excess, etc.
I'm wouldn't class myself as old - 35 but I do live in a rural area and have been claim free my entire driving career (passed test at 17).

Insurance with Chris Knott - I shop around every year, but have been with CK for over 10 years now.... always cheapest.

well finally settled on swinton, although company that is insureing me is axa, cost fully comp+legal+no claims,150 excess=202.36 as the other quote was for tpft,so not a bad result overall

Im a bit late but I dont know if any of you are aware of the strange way ins companies work i.e. my insurance is cheaper to have my Wife as named driver than it is to be insured on my own.

if i put my missus on the insurance would take off ,she's a learner, just out of curriosity i did a price check on my mpv,it's a ford galaxy 2.3 mk 2 with 145bhp fully comp and it came back as £136!urh i know it's bigger ,not much difference in top end a little slower in pick up,yer i know but it does go but what a difference in price for insurance the worlds gone mad:confused:

1997 Marea HLX 2.0 20v - approximate value £300 Insurance quote fully comp £200 with a £350 excess

I think the Marea is rated far too high.

I've recently bought a MG ZS diesel 115, and the Marea is parked in the garage with nearly 12 months MOT on it, simply because as a second car (therefore no NCB) the insurance cost is ridiculous. Check classifieds.

I'm going to buy another classic, which you can insure for peanuts.

My TVR 400SE with over 250bhp costs me 180 quid a year fully comp, also with no NCB allowance.

Crazy.
