General marea 100sx td stuck in 2 gear help

Can someone help me.

Driving home from work and it kept jumping out of third into neutral.

Then when i went to revers it was juddering. It started to reverse and then stopped.
It is now as though it is stuck in 2 gears .When i let the clutch out it stalls.

The car is now stuck on my drive. can someon ehelp

i'm afraid it sounds like you need a new gearbox.

does the gearstick still feel the same as it always has and still feel as though it can select all 6 gears?

The gearstick won,t move. It feels like if i wrench it it wil snap or break something.

its defo gearbox failure then. a scrapyard box will cost approx £75. fitting will cost approx £100. unless milage is below 50k i would fit a new clutch while the box is off. a clutch will cost approx £50.

afraid not, but i did sell my 20v gearbox to Jimbo for £50! what a bargin gimme that zorst!

where are you? there is at least one 20v at bell's breakers in bishop aukland, actually i think there are 2 or 3.
