hi all when I replaced my throttle valve the inlet manifold was full of gunk so I cleaned it best I could no engine light on but I was wondering if I should clean or replace the ( manifold absolute pressure ) sensor & what would cause it to gunk up new sensor part no bosch 0-281-002-845 inlet manifold £38 or anywhere cheaper . the photo is my old throttle control which I renewed I looked like tar

egr put exhaust gas back in the inlet fit a egr blanking plate and cheater to keep the eml off no more black gunk

hi shotgun yes fitted the tafmet the other day but not put plate in yet to cold & to busy a moment will taking out the map sensor to clean or should I replace ????
 
just clean out all you can and refit carb or brake cleaner will clean it up but I would fit the plate to stop this

hi just been out with m/h after cleaning manifold sensor & fitted the egr cheater the mpg on dash says 22mpg up from 20mpg & that's in the cold as on our winter trip ( not going this year )to spain the mileage always gets better the further south you get when I get a chance I will do a fill for fill test to be sure
