Technical Map sensor update

hey, well ive been informed that there is no "voltage" going to my map sensor,therefor it shows as fault, although the Map Sensor is fine!! Got to get Auto Electrician to check wire's from sensor to...wherever it ends! more fun. Any idea off how much this may cost? thanks,suz.

If you're sure 5v is not being received at the MAP sensor then you need to find out whether the ecu is putting out 5v to it or whether another component like the throttle body or rpm or cam sensor is taking it to ground
