Trying to use Eper but I'm struggling to get past the version.

Could anyone advise the Bosch part number for a 2005 1.9 Multipla MAP sensor,
Thanks

Have you been on eper?

There's a facility on there where you can enter your cars chassis number (VIN); then navigate to the section you're interested in and all part numbers given will definitely be the ones for your car.

Widemouthfrog,
did you read the first sentence of my original post? I'm slightly embarassed that I can't figure it out without you reminding me!

hi, i changed map sensor on my multipla. i presume you know its location?
(sits just behind cylinder head near top, basicaly under fiat front badge, look down into engine, its there). unclip wire & undo allen key small bolt & wiggle it out.
numbers are on the part itself.
i got mine from shop4parts with forum member discount too :)

Oooops! Didn't read the top line of your post (momoe). Apologies.

Anyway, have you tried the eper version on spangerum.com? I usually get a lot more joy with that than the one here.

I had the MAP sensor changed on mine about a year ago. I seem to remember that there a two or three different ones so it's worth checking.

Multiplied,
I know the location, just to the left of the EGR assembly. My problem is I've got a Facet MAP sensor and I'd like the Bosch one.

Aaaaaaargh,
this is becoming a bleedin' epic, I've used the Bosch part list site and there are two options but neither of them gives a MAP part or a pressure sensor. I've worked out from another Bosch part PDF that Bosch call MAP's pressure sensors and that gives me two possible part numbers.
I think I want 0281 002534, I can provide VIN and/or Reg via a PM if anyone could please confirm this is the correct part.

According to ePER and your VIN. Your Multipla was built on the 8th June 2005 and is a 1910 JTD 115bhp CF3 (Euro 3 emissions) with engine number 4523400. If this engine number is correct (i.e. the engine hasn't been replaced), the Fiat part number for the MAP sensor is 55206796, Fiat price £29.29 +VAT.

Cross referencing the Fiat part number from the Bosch catalogue gives Bosch part number 0 281 002 844.

Bosch part number 0 281 002 534 you posted in post #8 above is a high pressure fuel sensor, not a MAP sensor.

Many thanks for your time, however Bosch have now added to the confusion.

The above links to the relevant page of the online Bosch parts manual, according to their data 0281002844 is for cars produced after 09/2006 and the part for cars produced up to 09/2006 is 0281002510?
I'm guessing that 09/2006 is the start of the 120hp engines, could you confirm this?

Also are you in a position to supply, I'm just wondering as you quoted the price from Fiat - I have a contact at a garage but I'd be more than happy to put business your way.

The confusion gets even worse. If you click to view the picture of 0 281 002 510 in the Bosch catalogue, it shows a MAP sensor with part number 0 261 230 052 printed on it.

Fiat currently list the part number for your MAP sensor as 55206796 (Bosch 0 281 002 844).
Fiat part number 55206796 is a modified version of 46811235 (0 281 002 510). The modification was listed by Fiat from August 2006 but also applicable to earlier models.

It would appear that Bosch are still supplying both the original and modified versions, however, I would be inclined to go for the later one as listed by Fiat.

Unless your MAP sensor has been replaced with a cheap copy, you could also check the Bosch or Fiat part number printed on it to compare. It's only one screw to get it out.

No... sorry, I don't supply parts.
