I have a blackberry from work and was able to pair it with bluetooth in the Fiat 500, so I think I can still make and receive calls. However for security reasons, my work has disabled the function that sends my contact list from the phone to bluetooth in the car, which means I can't tell the car to ring "Home" or other contact names. I would have to tell the car to dial the actual numbers each time. The problem with that is the car doesn't recognise the numbers, so matter how loudly or clearly I say them, it gets the numbers wrong and secondly, I would have to remember every phone number I need.

Is there any way I can enter the numbers manually? eg Could I sit in the car and painstakingly read out each number and then give it a contact name? Or I've read that you can have more than one mobile phone paired, so could I pair another phone with the numbers I want on its contact list and then call up that contact list, with my work phone as the primary paired phone?

Or is there some way I can put my phone numbers with their contact names on a usb drive and transfer that over usinfg the usb drive in the car?

No.

Yes.

Also, no.

So, best thing you can do is to pair blue&me with another phone containing your contacts. once contacts are copied to your car, they'll be available for you to dial regardless of which phone you're connected with. after contact list is copied make sure you disable the blutooth on the one you don't want to use with the car, if you intend carry both your phones together. (just incase you forget ^^)

Thanks Durukan. I'll try it out on the wekend when I have time to enter some numbers into another phone and pair it and let you know if I can make that work.
