General Man without a Van

:bang: Please can anyone help. My Ducato 2.0 JTD is not starting with the key. I can bump start it and it then runs really well. Numerous suggestions ie: glow plugs, debris blockage and solenoid vacumn central valve have all been tried without success.

Does it turn over?

Need more info as we not clairvoyants

It turns over with the key but will not start. Bump starts no problem. New crank sensor, put new glow plugs and unit in and it started with the key, ran it all day no problem, locked it at night and would not start next morning.

Theres a 'dodgy' body to engine earth connection near to the starter motor,worth checking here.

Strange how the new glow plugs worked for a while,dont suppose you know if these are still working correctly? (something reminds me of a connector under a plastic cover at bottom side of battery )

check fuel filter pipes joints for air leaks check level in filter in the morning
