I am going to make myself my own ecotek valve after researching some on the internet,
I descovered it is just a presure release valve (10psi) stuck in backwards(makes it a vacuum release valve)into a plastic t connector = -10psi look on net for pine fuel saver witch is just a south african version of ecotek they tell u the presure settings
and it is going to cost £15 i aint paying £25 extra to spray it a diffrent color
will tell u all soon the results:):);)
take the ring of this valve and its an ecotek

Snake Oil?

Wouldnt really recommend using the Ecotek unless its on a Cinq 899cc.

The Inlet manifold on the Sporting takes it vacuum from the side nearest number 4 pot. If yure going to disturb the air, yu want to do it where it will affect all pots, not just number 4.

On a Sporting, I'd recommend to tap a hole in the spacer between the throttle body and the inlet manifold!

95 Cinq Sporting - Rattly GrpN Catback Exhaust, Buckets and 3pt Harnesses,Sexy VW styleé dials (that look great, but dont work!! :)D)), 10" Sub and 6x9's, ETech Wing. Lots of Dirt!
1242cc Engine in car, not starting, boot delock soon, K+N still in garage!

i am also sending of for some plans from eagle-research.com
the plans are for a electronic circuit that is wired into the oxygen sensor wiring on inlet and lambda this circuit alters the voltage in the signal sent to the ecu so it(ecu) wont tell the fuel injector to inject more fuel if more oxygen gets through to the exhaust i will make the plans available when they arrive ;):):)

Oh Christ not that one again.

Its a resistor. It fools the ECU for about an hour. Then the ECU recalibrates itself. The lambda takes a reading of your exhaust contents, too many unburnt hydrocarbons and it cuts the fuel back.

Snake oil.

Cheers
