Hi guys

The other day I removed my EGR and cleaned it and disconnected my MAF on my 2002 JTD 115hp
Since then I have had a massive amount of smoke whenever my turbo comes on song. Any idea's what I've done as it's only started since cleaning my EGR!
*I did poke and prod at some of the carbon the EGR connects onto and some fell in but not sure how much went in. I have since done a big motorway journey (200 miles) and still smoking as much.
Whenever I give it the beans at standstill theres a big patch of carbon on the floor from the exhuast!

Need to get this sorted as MOT is 2nd June :bang:

Thanks
Mike

Hi.
The easiest way is to blank the egr off plenty of info on it on this forum.
I have blanked two JTD’s and both have passed an MOT and remain blanked.

You may have damaged your EGR, its probabely stuck open. An EGR thats stuck open will reduce power and increase smoke. You could try blanking it off to see if it is whats causing the problem.

My EGR is also blanked off and it recently passed its MOT.
