Technical major issue!! help!!

Hi all,
My car has a major issue at the moment! Nothing works apart from the airbag warning light and the clock, everything else is dead, thats the central locking, all the lights, all of the dash (except the clock and airbag light) windows, fan, and anything else electric including everything for the engine, i no its not the battery as its brand new last week and i checked it anyway, anyone have any ideas what has happened or what it could be? The car hadn't put a foot wrong until i parked last night and now this has happened :bang:

Sounds to me like the battery has drained over night? Are you sure you didn't leave anything turned on such as the stereo or interior light?

Or maybe there is a problem with the alternator so the battery hasn't been recharging whilst you have been driving?

When you turn the key does the lights described come on but dimmer than normal and the car not crank over?

Maybe the new battery blew the fuses or maybe the fuses were blown the hole time?

Thanks to everyone who took time to help me however, In reply to all of the above, no, i always remove my face panel from my radio when i get out so it cant be on and the interior light i always check it goes out when i lock the car, the alternator should be fine as i put the battey charger on this morning and it said the battery was full, when i turn the key everything goes out completely as if the battery has been removed altogether and i also checked all the fuses and none were blown.

The only thing i can think of now is either a relay has stopped working or theres a loose connection some where between the battery and the back of the dash?

Turns out it was loose / dirty connection at the back of the fuse box which ment it was only getting 5 volts when the battery was reading 13 volts. Thanks again for those who helped.

Glad you got it sorted mate, goes to show sometimes it can just be a silly little thing.
