been thinkin about some plans to further my ice install without compromising on taking out the rear seats.
at the moment i have 2 10" sony p5 subs with a 10 disk changer and a 350w amp in the boot which is compleatly full.
the subs are running left and right channels through the amp at 175w each and they have a peak of 1100w and rms of 300w so not really moving em much.
next i have a pair of the new design sony xplod 6x9 on the rear shelf unamped which have a peak of about 220w dont know about rms for them. in the rear quarters i have a pair of cheap 6x9 which claim to be 250w peak but arent that bad quality also unamped. both pairs are running off the rear of the head unit.
in the front i have a small pair of sony xplod speakers that are 110w peak running form the front of the headunit.
right here are the plans. need opinions oh and accomplishing this make take some time but will be worth it.
here go's
getting a 1000w amp to power the subs.
amping up both pairs of 6x9s with one amp
leaving the fronts as they are.
right time for extravegance
in the door cards putting small 5" sonys in front of the door handle and 6" or 6.5" after the handle.
where the lower pocket thing is having the larger bit built roung as a sort of half egg shape so its sealed. then in this part putting a sony xplod 6x9 xplod 6" speaker and a small tweeter all in a line.
then where the smaller half of the pocket is cut that off and bolt an amp in place of it on either door.
right thats the plan what you guy an gals think.
worth it or a big waste of time, is it too much, i just keep thinkin that when you open the door it would look the dogs, thats if the door opens properly after all the extra weight.
or should i do it for you guys just for a laugh.
let me know please.
