I actively prefer a rotary to me though the DAS6 is old some of the new DA's reduce a lot of vibration which is something I became weary of using DA.
Just to add to Andy the rotary is fine you just have to take your time, I would not say you can say the DA is not unsafe on any paint it can just as bad it will take longer to burn through leaving it in the same place but still you need practice.
Auto Finessa ha, I would not go to many of their products on a personal viewpoint owing to some of their business practices. Additionally some of the labeling is frankly misleading and downright dangerous (Next time you have an Auto Finesse product try accessing the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) that tell of any dangerous items in the product which legally have to be freely available, from the link given on the label- 100% doubt you can owing to not having a password).
Furthermore as for them manufacturing their products cheaper from other providers.
I like Menzerna for polishes always been reliable and trustworthy.
