I have 10.4 installed and i'd like to upgrade to snow leopard.

Ive found the software online for a really good price.

I would like to format my mac first and install the new o/s fresh. i've done this on a pc but i have no idea how to do this on a mac.
:confused::confused::confused:

Small point: I'm still running Tiger and thought I would upgrade to Snow Leopard. Unfortunately, Snow Leopard will only run on Intel based Macs, leaving me high and dry with my mini (G4) and my dual processor G5 tower :mad:. Thanks a lot, Mr Jobs.

Anyone got a Tiger to Leopard upgrade disk they've finished with? PM me. I could really use Time Machine to back up to my shiny new NAS device..

Cheers,

Plug

Boot up with the disk - I didn't say install it ;)

Boot - run disk utility to format the hard drive and then install 10.6

i'm a lil confused!

what will happen after i boot with the disk? will it just go into normal o/s mode?

i thought i'd have to format the drive, then boot and install using the disk?
