Hi.... New to this site, my brother has a brava t jet and has a problem with running on 3 cyls, number one plug keeps fouling up and had blown ign coils.... At end of tether.....any ideas would be great.... Cheers :))

Hello And welcome to FF,

Fouling plugs is conventionally a sign of mechanical wear,
but I'm guessing this is electrical , Unless the fouled plug is making the coil work too hard ,

has it had the Fault codes read ? - ( looking for sensor issues)

look in the Grande Punto / or Bravo sections as they BOTH use the T-jet motors,

Cheers Charlie....thank you for reply, it's had new coils and plugs before then worked and failed couple of weeks ltr, but once was going down m5 and after a puff of smoke it started to run on again for ages, then recently has hon back to 3 cyls, a mechanic looked today and said maybe head off as oil maybe getting into number one cyl...... Cheers from Keith ;))

Oh and it has had full fault code checks, and usually says number one coil pack , but kneed to know what it causing it.....:))
