Hi guys

I have been thinking about getting an lpg conversion done to my petrol sedici
and was wondering if anyone on the forum had already had it done ?

If so have you had any problems with the conversion ?
anything i should watch out for ?

did you get a flash lube fitted to help the valves ?

looking forward for any input
cheers
Alan

Had an lpg conversion on vw camper but would say:
doubt if economic unless DIY conversion
reduced power output will be noticeable on what is already an underpowered car
where will you put the tank? the sedici boot is quite small
LPG prices are rising
you will need an upper cylinder lubricant of some sort
good luck

Convsrsions are very expensive, fuel consumption will increase by 20 % , as will servicing and insurance.

My diesel Sedici does 52 m.p.g. on a long run, and upper 40's on local journeys. I imagine the petrol Sedici does around 37 m.p.g., and with l.p.g. that would go down to around 29 m.p.g. Change your car for a diesel model because as Tim says where would you SAFELY mount your tank ?

Actually Tim, a modern sequential LPG system will not result in a loss of power. That was the older systems on carbed engines with mixer rings.

Cylinder lubricant isn't needed on all engines, but I don't know if the Sedici engine is one which would or wouldn't.

Servicing doesn't increase by much, and insurance is all dependant upon the company.

Does the Sedici not have a spare wheel well
