Lowering the Bravo

Hi, need some advice. Have done most things to the car but have been debating over lowering her by 35mm. Now the jury is out, it really is 50/50. Two spring choices Fiat Abarth or PI springs, both lower by 35mm. Some people say do not as it destroys ride quality and my little baby already rattles enough. Some say that the ride is not affected too much and the handling really improves to the point that you wish you had taken the plunge earlier.......so I will add up the replies if I get enough yes or no then that will be that. one further question the car is a 1996 so will the shocks curl up and die with the new springs??

Have you seen those suspension kits?

I dropped my car 4 cm with Eibach springs, the car looks a lot better and the best thing is, you hardly feel that it's lowered! I recommand the Eibach springs and everyone who has them is very pleased with them... Tim.

Averiguaste cuanto salen?

En su momento habia averiguado por el kit para el Bravo. En MotorCars (en la Avda Cramer) me pedian $ 620 instalados. Conseguis mejor precio??

Sabias que a todos los Bravos vendidos en Argentina, FIAT le modifica la suspension, levantandolos 2 cm...
Es un desastre !!!!

Te paso algunos precios:

EIBACH (www.eibach.com) en Equipauto me habian pasado $450 el kit que te baja 35 mm el auto.
El tema es que este kit no te hace perder la garantia, si es que seguis teniendo.

con respecto a que Fiat los sube no tenia idea, todo mal! ahora hacen gastar plata al dope.

OTROS PRECIOS:
Despues en Cañossilen te cobran el escape $300
si queres una colita cromada doble hay algunas bastante buenas por $120
En Silen Pro un medio equipo te sale con colita cromada y todo $360 (pero no salida doble)

o sea el tema de la salida cromada es unicamente estetico, a mi me gusta.

Acerca de tuning, tenes el tablero en carbono por los $250, queda muy bien! no como el de la foto de pisteros que es medio fulero.
El aro que rodea la base de la palanca de cambios esta $75, tambien esta barbaro
Una linda pedalera por $60 puede ser la Momo Tuning
Unas alfombras muy copadas (Simoni Racing) por $60 con borde al tono en el color de tu auto.
Otra cosa que a mi me gusta es sacarle todos los logos, por mas que diga 155 y todo se lo saco igual (eso es cuestion de gustos obvio)

Bueh, mas no da para cambiarle a mi gusto porque ya es lindo de por si, si fuese un Palio podriamos hablar de volantes, palancas de cambios, freno de mano y todas esas cosas...

Obviamente el tema de las llantas es un asunto pendiente y muy caro, eso lo dejo para despues!
Lo que me gustaria ver (nunca vi) es un Bravo con el frente con rejilla de aluminio, que esta muy de moda en la revista Sporting Mix. Aunque como esta me parece bueno.

De Belgrano? Yo tambien ando mucho por ahi.
Si quieren ver un Gris Acero, con buen audio ( 2 potencias + subwoofer MTX), tablero de a/a en blanco, con backlight en luz negra, pedalines cromados, filtro K&N admision directa (bien instalado), y miniturbo...
