Lowering 1.2 punto

HI Everyone
my first post!!

In Doubt really and some of you sound very experienced.

Just bought a 5dr 1.2 fiat punto ACTIVE (2002) and have also purchased some 50mm lowering springs, so im gonna get them fitted but after that what alloys should i be fitting for an awesome look but practicality??? 15 or 16

MY Question is 15 or 16??????

Hopefully someone has lowered by 50mm before?

15 and 16 will both be fine, and both could rub. it depends what size tyres you use and what offset wheels you get. if you get a set of 16s with 195/45/16 tyres then a 50mm drop will be fine even with peolpe in the back.

when you say 50mm i assume you mean 50mm at the front and 35mm on the back? you shouldnt lower the mk2 by the same amount front and back because the back is naturally lower by about 15mm. if you did drop the back by 50mm it would look silly imo

if you post the same question in the punto section you will get more replies, plus you can get replies from people who have done the exact same thing on their punto's. few punto owners check in this section.
