Re: Lowerin Cinq 60mm or more!

If im gna lower the cinq is gotto b all the way, partner got a punto lowerd 75 and i love it, seen some cinqs lowerd with 40s but aint good enuf, 60 all the way and if i can lower it any more then i will!

Still got standard wheels on there, what sort size can i go up to if lowerin it by 60?

i still think the same lol did it scratch or anythin when goin over bumps i had people in the back of my car the other day and it scratched over speed bumps so id hate to think what it would do if i had mine lowered

You must have slightly large friends if your car rubs over bumps or you have a suspension problem LOL!!:D

Re: Lowerin Cinq 60mm or more!

can you please send me some links of the lowerin kits you all have, this is the kit i've seen, it states that it will lower the front 70 and the back 50, understand the front is always higher then the back however will the car look like its lowered 70mm over all??

Got no probs fittin it myself so thats okay, just want car looking low as possible without the cost of paying for coilovers.

http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/product_info.mhtml?id=3733574

Gave them a ring and they said it shud fit a sporting, just wonderin if anyone has any other links to full sets of lowerin kits for the sp cinq,

Many thanks,

Also one more thing lol, im thinkin of gettin 14'' alloys, think this is the best size to get considerin car hopefully gna b lowerd 60mm?

FK stuff is very good deffo recommend and the biggest drop you can get without going custom I think...

That's the Spax -40mm adjustable on a Cinq withSexy 14's ;)

It will fit but it clearly states:

"With factory built in sport suspension lowering could be less"

So you'll actually be looking at a 50/30 split I'd guess ..... not what your after at all.

I dropped 50mm all round and had to cut half of my front bump stop off, else it would sit on the bump stop and not move at all. That was with matched dampers as well. I severely doubt if you got real 70mm spring on the front, you'd even have a suspension that moved without removing the stop totally.....and thats gonna kill off the dampers in no time.

Also on the rear with 50's i had to cut the rear stops in half as they sat on them....I'd imagine at 70mm, the rear arms wouldn't have any travel at all.

If you need/want that kind of drop adjustables is the only way tbh. And even with them dropped low, they may not be working properly and you risk skipping off then road lol

on this subject was looking on the europerfomance website for some springs myself, and noticed the 70/50 kit, do you think it would do 70/50 on a sporting or 50/30? its confusing me tbh i want coilies:eek:

50/30mm not good enuf =(

Whiley u said u where gna sell ya cinq at one point, glad u made the right choice not too!!

Gaz ur good at findin stuff for the cinq, plz find me a lowerin kit, 60mm all round plzzzzzzzzz with a cherry on top =D!

I've got KW V1's on my cinq and set to the lowest they are just about right! Took helper springs off once and went to about 90mm drop and that jus dint work as the steering arm catches on the wish bone looked good tho.:slayer: So unless you're willing to do loads of work 75mm is about the max you're guna get:(

:Djust orderd it we'll have to see, man on fone said it shud lower sportin 70 all round but we'll have to wait and see, fingers crossed!!!
