Is the engine managment light on?
Ideally you need to get the engine ECU read for any fault codes or secondary data.
Now this is pure speculation but worth a shot.
One of the cars systems use Pulse Width Modulation to control something, such as Injector Open/Closed times. In normal operation such a control would say possibly be expected to be between certain values, e.g. 10ms and 100ms. You car could have detected a value of say 6ms which is not expected.
To help rule out ABS / Wheel Velocity pulse signals does this message only occur while the wheels are turning?
