Technical loud noise and eml on?

Hi guys just been out and my mk2 punto has made a loud squeaky hummy noise which was constant the engine heat level said it couldnt be cooler and the engine management light has come on anyone no whats wrong with it

get someone to read codes for you, even if fault has gone the ecu saves the fault codes that caused the eml to come on.
if you cant read them yourself either ask on here someone will live near who can

When was the coolant last changed? Frozen block? Stripped water pump? Buggered cam belt?

Ok my mates gonna do it for me whos an m.o.t tester but hes off till monday how long will it save the code for roughly ?

Cam belt looks fine and i recently put coolent in and the temprature aint right on the clocks im thinking it might be fan bearing and senser?

It did make whinney noise in the summer tho in traffic and when ever i got to like 30-40mph and went off when i went below that speed

No idea what that could be. Still, get the mate to give it a thorough going over. I'd suggest, read the codes, change coolant (the blue stuff is only good for two years, and the big cold snap is coming), look at cam belt, cam belt tensioner, water pump.
