Loud, high pitch noise when dialing from iPhone 3G

Anyone else getting this? It's a little random, but most times I make a call the first time my iPhone connects there is a horrible high pitch noise for a few seconds then you hear the phone dialing.

I've upgraded to v5.4 and the iPhone is running the latest firmware too. Anyone else have the same problem and know how to sort it?

Think its something to do with the chip/BT stack in the iPhone 3G. My old 3G did the same thing, I've now got a 3GS and dont get the issue....

Dont think anything can be done to fix it unless FIAT or/and Apple sort it out..

Thanks for the heads up about the 3GS. Might have to bug work to get me an upgrade
