Styling Looking into a 60s - If i get it want to add central locking and elec windows

Well yeah looking into a mk 60s but wanna add things like central locking and elec windows

now will this be hard to do? or easy or shall i pull out a nice alarm system that does the lot

nah the drivers door is completey off the car not attached only by tape, and is sooo messed up point less and the other side is scratched from bush wacking lol

it's reasonably easy to do, just have a large box of plasters and an encyclopedia of swear words from around the world

I started off with a S model with nothing.
now I have everything

the easiest way to do it (i,e spend two days pulling car apart, and puting back together and when you press the button for the first time it works flawlessly) is find a 85ELX or 75ELX and nick all its goodies, then the interior wiring loom and the two fuse box's.
then put it all in your car.

I can answer anyquestions you like on the conversion, its pretty easy, although not as easy as just buying a 75ELX in the first place

well i have a written of 75SX! but the drivers door and wing and side is all pooped! so think for now ill have to live with it but no biggie!!!

Just done mine and it turned out a damn sight easier than what ive read on this thread ! You dont need a loom from an sx etc, just find out what wires are comin from your ECU and what they do and go from there:slayer: !
Like i said, its pretty straight fwd if youve any common sense

grate mate iv got a 60 s and its was in a bang NOT bye me ill go to the scrap yards i would and get search for puntos i found out that some parts of an P REG 55 for the side wing and bumper for a cool 30 quid and it does fit my car even tho its the wind is blue just needs a respary if i was you dont just make shore that you get the right parts of difrent cars saving a lot of money rember that cars say from fiat punto ford escort seires these you can use parts from say if you got punto mk1 55 you can probley use wings and lights and stuff

eleccy windows cost me £40 with everything from a breakers and I used a remote locking kit from ebay £25....all works. Took 2 days to do properly.
