Hi to all. I am a newbie with lots of questions.
After 35+ years in storage, I am finally getting to my Double Bubble. Through all of the dirt and cob webs I find it has two identifying numbers. One on a small plate under the back seat (making it a 59) and one deep inside the engine compartment (making it a 57). Anyone info would be welcome.

Thank you for the links, they were quite helpful.(y) I had already decided to go with the engine compartment VIN since it is preceded by "FIAT 100" - the links (and others) have confirmed it. The next steps are to uncover correct body color (metallic teal cannot be correct for 1957) and to locate what few items are still missing (Record Monza seats, 8000 rpm tach) Maybe along the way we will also uncover some history.
