A couple of months ago I installed some door speakers and rear speakers - you were all right there is seriously lacking bass. So, I'm wanting to get a sub and amp with a low-moderate budget. Not looking for mind blowingly loud sounds but I'm not too sure mainly about which amp to get. Any ideas appreciated.

Have you considered a low profile package?

thanks for the advice, I went for the kickers though.

I'm gonna try wire it up today but I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me how to attach the battery connectors (small metal ring thing) to the actual power cable (10 gauge). The wiring kit came with a few heat shrinks so I'm wondering do I solder or what?

What front speakers did you install? If they are a decent quality component set you should notice an improvement in the level of bass up front. Amping them could help, it's also worth checking they are wired correctly phase wise as if they are wired out of phase this could affect the bass performance.
