Looking for a rear window wiper motor

does anyone know where to get a rear window wiper motor from.

I've tried a few places with no luck. I'd imaging a fiat dealership would be rather expensive. any help would be greatful

Its a Fiat part, you won't get it anywhere else.

Fiat dealer approx £120 + Vat.

Think there's one on ebay at the moment thou.

Remember that Bravo's Brava's and Mareas have the same motor so that may widen your search.

Why are people so scared of Fiat dealers? Fiat made the car afterall. Do you really trust some aftermarket part makers copy of a fiat part more than the one fiat made?

Someone was asking for a cheap cambelt a while back, the one part that could totally destroy your engine if it fails and they wanted so save a few quid on it.. daft!

The cambelt I can understand but a wiper motor is hardly crucial. The guys just trying to save a few bob after all.

And at £120+VAT I was scared by the Fiat dealer and got one second hand for £30.

Trawl the scrappys long enough and you will find one Johnny.

Now, where can I get a cheap alternator?

Alts are a different kettle of fish, they are made by bosch/lucas/etc.. and not fiat and due to the cost of them brand new they are reconditioned.

Look under car electrical in the yellow pages and get phoning.

Had them in my mini AGES ago, Clarion ones too!

They have a use which is to add bass to a stock install on a budget.

You could by Wimmy's install almost twice over for the cost of my front speakers

Its helped by the sound deadening and the foamed door trim.
