General looking for a cheap car for the wifes 1st motor

having had a mk1 55sx previously i thought that a similar car would make an ideal 1st car for her.
Found one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....m=170241669589&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=007
which has a knocking noise which to me sounds likely to be read shock, are these cheap to get hold off? obviously would do both sides.

I'd have loved to have kept my old car but i have a knackered back and needed an auto as clutch mudered me.

probably the rear suspension arm bushes on the punto
IIRC you can get a rebuild kit
punto owners will confirm

i was lucky with my mark 1 it never went, but i believe they are quite an easy fix.

it will be the rear trailing arm bushes.

apparently easy to do, iv never done them tho and wouldnt like to, i hate doing suspension stuff :bang:

The job looks fairly self explanatory. Just buy two new trailing arms.

Only problems would be with seized bolts.

Rear Radius arm isnt that bad and deff as above they might be seized the bolts. to change the bush itself you will need it pressed out and new one pressed in. think it was £30 for my bush and got my dad to get it pressed in at work.
