General Locking wheel nuts

right ive just bought a 3dr abarth and discovered the fella i bought it off has given me the locking wheel nuts??!!ive tried to get hold of him to see if he got them but no luck...

Where do i go from here??

Are you saying you want to fit locking wheel nuts, or you have them but he has not supplied the key for removing them?

i aint got the key to remove them pal

There are various methods for removing them.

Weld a nut to the top and put a socket on is the quickest, but you need a welder.

Buy a socket that almost fits over them, then bash it on with a big hammer. Usually have to buy several sockets and sometimes all you do round off the nut.

Drill a big-ish hole in the middle then bash a chisel into the hole and turn it with a spanner. (The method I used on a 307. It took me hours and had to keep resharpening the drill bit. The next day, the last owner called me and said she found the locking key:doh.

I am sure there are other methods, but make sure you contact the previous owner because finding that key is the easiest method of all.
