General Live maps not updating

My Canadian Fiat 2024 La Prima has been intermittently not working with the live maps/ traffic and has progressively getting worse. For about two weeks now, I receive no live map/ traffic. The token has always said requested or not received during the time it's not working and today I have a new error saying Ive reached maximum authentication attempts. Im up todate on my paid (yet useless) subscription. Anyone else run into this, and how did you fix it?

I don't use the in-car navigation system myself since I prefer Google Maps and Waze on Apple Carplay, but I do like to keep things up to date and just a month ago I updated the installed maps on the car.

You need a 32Gb USB drive for this and a spare 30-60minutes to wait in the car while it installs. Or leave the car running and let it update

That's what I thought too but some people in the facebook group for this car realised their car's weren't updating even though connected to wifi. I then checked my nav and it was out of date aswell.

Well I tried. the USB stick however does not work, the car does not react when I put it in. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure you follow this instruction to setup the USB drive correctly for the car to understand it.

Mine worked fine. Maybe your original download was corrupt. Try deleting it, and downloading again.

Does it matter in which USB port you put the flash drive? I mean, there is one on the dashboard and one in the arm rest drawer.

Yes, you must use the dashboard one. The arm rest drawer one is power only.
