limit of lowering

hello, just wondering whats the limit you can lower with: 15s? 16s? and 17s? without doing work to your arches.

I've seen it on a 1.4 with 4 people in the car.

mines lowered 55mm with 205/45/16's and theres no rubbing with 4 people in.

This interests me Ian ? Can it be done, I really want to slam my car on the deck but don't know what sort of arch work I'd be looking at.

It can be done. Goto the Warrington cruise one monday night, he's always there in his N reg blue 1.4 with 17's Definately low. I asked him and he said 60mm with no arch rub.

how much are 60mm springs? or even 50mm? its just i have seen 40mm and i dont think it makes that much of a difference...

60mm would more than likely need shortened shocks and the springs mate. Looking around 250+ depending on make.

you can get 60mm lowering springs for less then that i seen them for about the 130 mark il try and find where and post it.

You'l need new shocks tho' as the standard Fiat ones would never be able to take the strain over a period of time.
