Your front lights are ace. I have a set in my Bravo. Are they just projection or are they HID? can you convert them into HID if they arn't?

What are the seats like? are there any front passenger seats that totaly fold down? Those would be great in the Bravo for long load and Ikea trips.

Any good non visable mods that you would recommend?

Why cant you use HID ?

They are bulbs, they come in H1 size, why cant you, is it a heat thing or what ?

Sorry the more I think about the more I have to call BS on that one. :p

edit/ Heres a pic, shamlessly stolen from BOO of a Bravo with both Poly Eliptical lights and HID bulbs.

HID lamps are discharge lamps like flourescent tubes, they don't have a filament and require control circuitry to work.

It is possible to convert standard lights to HID but it involves a bit more than simply swapping out the bulbs. A poly eliptical lens with a washer as above comes close enough to the legal requirement so you are unlikely to get pulled. (HID lights require a self levelling system and wash/wipe to be legal on factory fits but they forgot to specify the requirements for after market kits :D)

Hope that clears things up.

To be precise HID lights are illegal in the UK as the Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations 1989 which regulate the situation in the UK give no mention of Xenon lamps, but as cars that have them fitted as standard comply to European type approval Regulations. The UK cannot refuse to register a vehicle with a European type approval.

Still I think a fairer answer to the question 'can you convert them into HID if they arn't?' would be 'Yes, although its not strictly legal'
