Good work Kris.

Fair play taking on that work yourself.

Hope the end is getting closer.

Had an alarming situation with the Y10 earlier. The fuel hose came off the fuel line and started spraying petrol around the engine bay. Thankfully I had just started her so everthing was cold.

Two things for the shopping list 1) some better hose clips 2) a fire extinguisher!!

Cheers

Dave

Slightly off topic but I saw SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many Y10's in Turin when I was there and other than faded paint the bodies looked quite good :)

On an even more off topic note I may have sourced a good deal of the bits the wifes Subaru needs :) 2 doors, 1 sidelight, 1 sunvisor, bootlid and front bumper all in the same colour as those already on the car for £100. Bad thing is they need to come from Scotland and I'm in North Wales.

Make it an underbonnet one! Always seemed a better idea than trying to crack the bonnet and spray stuff in from the front. Speaking of petrol did you ever consider spraying the petro cap and its surround? After all youv'e done so much to colour code the bumpers and the sill extensions.

Had considered that a Ryanair ticket to italy and an autotrader was an easier entry into Y10 ownership. But then I hate flying!

Honda Vtec?

Oh Yeah and heartiest congratulations now that your famous :D Bet that bird taking your order on page 54 asked for your phone number. Seriously though the car looks superb and the paint finish flawless. The wheels look awfully tasty as well, they give it just the right stance.

How chuffed are you to have your work immortalised in print (y)

Yup 1.6 v-tec from a Civic. It is a B16b2 to be more specific with 160BHP  Still need some more bits and bobs for the conversion but the engine is the main bit. The original plan was for a t-jet conversion but they are like hen's teeth at the moment.

Thanks for your comments pn the article. Well chuffed that's for sure :D

Thanks

Dave

Got Retro Cars yesterday. Car looks shiny! Sort of odd to see a Y10 in a magazine! Must be a nice end to the project.

I wonder if they would "get" my Panda enough to put it in a mag like this, rust and all and probably not washed?
