In preparation for replacing the light bulb in the license plate light I removed the housing for one of the two license plate lights following the illustration in the Owners Manual on page 300 (inserting a flat screw driver at the end of the lens holder and popping it out) but now that I have removed the assembly (it is still wired to the system) I cannot get the assembly to stay when I put it back in. There is a spring clip on the left end of the assembly and plastic tabs on the right. It seems designed so that you put the right tabs in under a retainer then pop the left end into place. But when I do this the assembly falls out. Neither the metal spring clip or the the plastic tabs seem broken. Any thoughts or help will be appreciated.
