WOW
will not sleep this night...I'm sure...perfect for me:) and close to me.
shame that it's van....probably 1.1 MPI under bonnet
....
Now question to all english people :)
how to drive it legally in UK...or how to take it abroad without UK reg plate....
is it possible to insure Italy plate car in UK?
Have you got something like temporary insurance or export reg plate like in Germany...?
In Germany you can buy special export plates with insurance for 2 weeks...
how about UK??

No idea I'm afraid. You'd have to transfer onto the UK register or something. It would definately be a drawn out affair.

The car needs to go through an iva which means modifying it for the uk. (rhd headlights etc). Then it needs to be insured under its VIN, so it can be regestered and taxed. Alot of trouble to go through, although if u have another panda a temporary headlight swap would speed this up

That's option to keep it in UK....have you got any temp insurance/plates to drive it away? from UK?

It might be possible to get european cover with the vin, although without tax/MOT it isnt tecnically road legal. I would just stick to towing it, or get it transported

I'm not sure how insurance works, but heard you could keep it forgien reistered, and in theiory tax exempt (and assume MOT exempt although would need to be road worthy), as long as it leaves the country at least once every 6 months.

Just what I've heard though.

Correct Jon...

so if you did buy it and did a booze cruse to france for a long weekend every 4-5 months, you could legally run it for the price of insurance and fuel only?
(and I'm sure the money from the booze would help for that):chin: now if only it was Barnsley on sea.........

too complicated:(
and then you need to transfer to "car" with 5 seat...also not very easy.

no bids....
Seller didn't want to answer questions....just wanted to ring and explain on the phone all about paper work etc....
still nice year...hmmm
