Hi everyone,
I got given these lexus lights below but cant decide whether to fit them on my mk1 punto in red :( i kinda like them but are they too chavvy ? I think they may be a bit too shiny :p
would they look better tinted and how easy is it too tint ??

they would look ok tinted, but not my cup of tea.
just get some tint spray (savage or e-tech are good) and spray like any normal rattle can. there is a guide on here somewhere and plenty of youtube video guides. just try not to go too heavy handed or dark with it.

I agree with this post :) tinted may look ok, but not on as how they are, ... i personalyl prefer standard lights with a bit of tint to them
 
I would mask up each segment to only leave the chrome visible, then get that nice and dark. When that has dried, remove the tape and tint the rest of it lightly...

if anything, id wanna hide the chrome. may work better the other way round and have the chrome darker.... would also be better come mot time cos where the light is emitted will not be "too dark" in theory vs the rest of it but still give a nice deep look to it. a lot of effort to do tho and make it look good.
 
think i might just sell them on .... i like the standard lights tbh but gunna tint my standard lights whats the rules on the reflector malarkey ;)
