General LED button

Hi
Does anyone know what this red LED could mean on this button? Can't seem to find any info on it online. It's where the fog light button would be if the car had it otherwise it should be completely blank.

Obviously it's a DIY mod. Someone added a LED (maybe it was blinking - fake "alarm" or something like that).
